Happy Earth Day!

Here we are nearing the end of April and we are still getting snow. The uncertainty of the weather keeps us guessing what each new day will bring. It is nice to have the tempatures warming and we are looking forward to seeing the ice break up on the lake. The ducks and geese have begun to return and we find ourselves dreaming about fishing. In Ontario, fishing season opens up May long weekend.
Ontario residents, Canadian residents and Non-Canadian residents will all require an Outdoors Card this year for fishing and hunting. The cost of the card is $9.00. A fishing or hunting licence tag will also have to be purchaced if you are 18 or older. Remember to carry it with you at all times when fishing or hunting.
